Among the top of high mountains in Thailand, "Doi Luang Chiang Dao" is the most unique one as it's geograhical shape. It's majestic limestone is notched beautifully. When viewed from any closed area around, it looks so very attractive. Chiang Dao can be seen from many places around together, whether on highway 107 which passing by Huay Num Dung the most famous place for seeing the fog. From here we can see the fog flowing among the valley of "Doi Luang Chiang Dao". It becomes a familiar picture as a place symbol. As well as looking at "Doi Luang Chiang Dao" from a remote mountain such as Doi Lungga Luang, the top five highest mountain in Thailand, found that it would not reduce the greatness of "Doi Luang Chiang Dao" even less. So to see "Doi Luang Chiang Dao" from the outside, it outperforms more than any hilltops.

With it's high statistic of 2,275 meters above sea level moderate with the top three in high ranking of mountain in Thailand, but it's high and big shape are not so important to the memory of travellers but it is the survival of the amazing in beautiful nature and wildlife which endeavor to learn more about this place and to visit the rare tree species found only one in the world. It creates a memorable travel experience.
